    What is CA Foundation?
    • It's the entry-level exam for Chartered Accountancy under ICAI.
    • Open to students who’ve completed 12th grade.
    • Focuses on accounting, business law, mathematics, and economics.
    • It's the first step in the CA course.
    • The format includes multiple-choice and sometimes descriptive questions.

      • It’s the entry-level test for becoming a Chartered Accountant.
      Frequency
      • Held twice a year, usually around May and November.

      • Failing to achieve 40 marks in any single paper results in failing the exam, regardless of the overall score.
      • As per the latest CA Foundation exam pattern, there is no negative marking.
